Crawton

Crawton, located in the parish of Dunnottar on the North East coast of Scotland, was once a thriving fishing village. Eighteen houses were listed in the 1861 census, but all that remains of the old village now are a few tumbledown clifftop cottages.

In 1851, fisherman George Adams (c1806-1880) and his wife Elspet Christie (c1805-1867) lived at cottage number 12.
